PROJECT PORC: New Partnerships for the 21st Century

J. Mounting-Dog (ARPA), B. Kopple (NFL Films)

Abstract: Project PORC (Prototype Overstated Rosellini Critter) is a consortium of scientists and marketing experts from Stanford, Harvard, the Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), Mattel Toys, and NFL Films who will reconstruct Rosellini's 1737 mechanical pig with a state of the art solar energy system, bleeding edge microprocessors, and 2AI (artificial intelligence/artificial insemination) with cross-species voice recognition. Unique design features planned for PORC include a microfilament hyperbolic deflector array with a novel configuration, three-way artifact detector, tri-dimensional optical character recognition, and metamathematical intestinal fluid regulators. See dealer for details. Void where prohibited. Spam excretion trials conducted by computer simulation during a live teleconference broadcast on the Web compare favorably with hearsay accounts reported in the popular press during the 1990s and portrayed in a made-for-TV movie on HBO, as we will document in our PowerPoint slides. Interdisciplinary teams from the participating institutions will race competing prototypes through an obstacle course at halftime of the Super Bowl to determine the final design of a Rosellini's Mechanical Pig Action Toy®.
