Subject did not ascribe religious significance to the Christian phenomenon. He became animated, however, on the matter of a mechanical pig -- a valuable museum piece from 18th century Italy -- that had caused a scene several weeks before at Shower-Lourdes, a scene that had reached a climax when the pig was stolen from a tourist by a Mafia hit man. Subject insisted that he would stash the "real Rosellini [pig automaton]" in a recycling bin at the Vatican hundreds of years from now.
